Yes we had just finished installing the up grades, on Saturday. And I guess on Sunday he was on there talking to everyone.

| | Crusader 10K, 5 Element Yage Beam Antenna, UP DATE Hello All:
I have been working quit a lot on the Crusader 5 element yagi beam. And improvements and up grades have been installed.
The driven element tuning and tuning syetem, a Hairpin matching circuit, and Balun, has taken a lot of our attention. I have found that that the Coax wound coil Balun didn't work as well as I hoped it would have. After rasising and lowering this large beam waaaay too many times, and seeing the coax balun effect tuning and SWR measurements, a Toroid Core type Balun was installed. This allowed the antenna to be fine tuned and elminated coax radiation.
As more testing of the Crusader Beam Antenna continues, I can see a production date getting closer.
I have also had many requests for smaller 4 and 3 element yagi beam, using the Hairpin Matching System.
Listen in to 144 as he is testing the latest Crusader 10K configuration.

Don't know about the 8 pill, but he was all over 6, 26, and 38LSB.
Seems we have a good handle on the Crusader 10K design, but now need to do a price analysts. And figure out how to ship the 12 Foot long Boom Tubing lengts. Will probably have to truck ship them.
The 7 element beam, with a 48 Foot Boom, is called a Typhoon. It will have a Quad reflector, with the driven element, and director elements as yagi elements. In a cross element design allowing the user to have both Horz and Vert Polarization. Again Gamma Matches will NOT be used and the Hairpin Matches will be used. Along with the new Baluns, as learned on the Crusader 10K. Since we have seen such great performance with the Crusader 10K 5 element yagi beam.
