Hello all I i have the Wouxun KG-UV3D dual band radio. I must say that I like this radio very much. One thing I noticed that seems backwards is that when scanning the back light stays on. It should go off during scan mode and then come on when a channel is active. Ive heard they all do this. Anyone know a way to change this or a mod for it?

If there is such a mod I'd also like to hear it. If you leave any of the dual-band Wouxuns on scan for any length of time the backlight kills the battery very fast. I had to turn it off completely.
