Default AMPLIFIERS & AND BLEEDING IN TV AND PHONES

HI!

I AM JUST GETTING BACK INTO HAVING A HOMEBASE UNIT. I HAVE A COBRA 29 LTD THAT I USE. I HAVE PURCHASED A MODIFIED B&W HF1000 AND DONT REALLY KNOW A LOT ABOUT IT JUST THAT IT IS HEAVY BECAUSE OF THE TRANSFORMER. IT USES 2/813 TUBES. I HAVE SCAN THE INTERNET TO SEE IF I CAN FIND IT AND WHAT IT SAYS ABOUT IT AND CAN'T GET ANYTHING BUT PARTS FROM B&W. IF SOMEONE COULD LET ME KNOW WHAT I AM DEALING WITH HEAR I WOULD BE MOST APPRECIATIVE?. ALSO I AM USING A IMAX 2000 ANTENNA AND I BLEED ON ONE TV THAT THE GUY SAYS I DONT SCREW UP THE PICTURE I JUST COME THRU THE SPEAKERS AND I AM HEARD OVER WHATS BEING VEIWED. ALSO I BLEED IN ON THE PHONE. I HAVE VERY LITTLE BLEED OR NO BLEED IN MY HOUSE. WOULD SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO STOP THAT TO STAY PEACEFUL WITH THY NEIGHBORS?. PLEASE!

befor you condem the imax as a bleeder read this thread .
SOLARCON ANTRON 99 VERSES THE SOLARCON IMAX 2000
these are informative also .
IMAX 2000 GROUND PLAIN?
http://www.worldwidedx.com/cb-antenn...iderplane.html

adding ground radials and a proper installation goes a long way with it . its problem IMO is by itself it uses coax and/or mast as ground elements . i wouldnt buy a new one considering a maco 5/8 is about the same price , if you already got it or can get a used one very cheap it seems it can be a prety good antenna when installed properly AND the equipment in front of it is ran cleanly .

all of our equipment is at the mercy of us operators and how we run/push it does affect what goes in and comes out of the antenna .

There are lots of old threads on this if you do a search or scan through. Many factors come into play, clean tuned radio, height of amplifier, grounds, filters, what amplifier and how hard you drive it. Sometimes it's just bound to happen.

Antennas are not bleeding. Bad transmitters and splatter boxes do.
I can run 1.5kW PEP without any TVI.
Countrycousin, replace your keyboard. Capslock is locked. Hard to read when you scream.

813 Beam Power Tube and Data Sheets

Here is a little info on your tubes anyway. Give you an idea what the amp should be doing.
