The one I had sounded OK, but the entire mic is plastic, very lightly made, kind of comparable to the sound of the old Cobra/Rat shack desk Mic. I guess for a collector that just has to have one, but honestly its a POS.. Not to mention thats pretty dirty looking for an NOS mic

I thought the same thing especially after looking at the closeup of the connector. Perhaps he meant "ONS" (old new stock) instead of "NOS".
