It is either a HGA-1000 (rated @ 100 watts) or a HGA-1500 (rated @ 300 watts).
Never been a 'fan' of antennas that have a short whip (31"- 37"). They just don't work very well. The SWR's are generally pretty poor at the band edges (ch 1 & 40 tend to go beyond a usable SWR). The antennas that have a 60" or longer whips are much better in many different ways.
If that is the only antenna you have, that is fine. But you could do so much better than that. Just because Cobra makes some nice radios - doesn't necessarily mean that everything they make is the best out there. Sirio, Wilson, and Predator make some fine antennas if you are looking to improve your radio's receive and transmit ability - IMO . . .
