I keep seeing J.R. radio shop and galaxy dx959 Flamethrower tuned by skrewdriver radios on ebay but have never heard any reviews on them. Anybody have any experience with them? Seem overpriced to me but?

LOL yea, sounds like a sucker sales gimmick for e-bay chumps. I would buy a radio tuned by DTB or Doug at Custom CB long before I would buy from e-bay like that.

nothing but snake oil. just a over tuned radio.
not worth the money. its just a swing mod.
and charge you 3 times what the radio is worth.
and bty they are refurbished radios. if you read the fine print

Overpriced is an understatement. That must be the price they charge the US government.

Like others I get bored and surf e bay and just kept seeing these radios and thought maybe I'm missing something. I wouldn't buy one I had a refurb 949 and never again. I put more into that radio than what I bought it for.

You off all people don't need a radio called flamethrower........you already have pretty nasty burns from the boiling antifreeze incident. Sorry...I just had to say that.

I figure the Flamethrower" is probably one step removed from a full blown Radiohactive radio.
