Default Tram XL5

First off, Hi everyone. Great forums. Lots of info.

I was suprised to see a Tram section. Not much talk about them anywhere else that i've found. I'm no expert and haven't been involved in CB's, bases or mobiles, in a while so i'm mostly just enjoying the different topics and forums while trying to learn something.

My father in law has recently given me the use of a Tram XL5. I installed it and used it for a couple of days. Sounds great, talks even better. I've got a problem, though. It just quite. I mean, one second i'm transmitting, then poof, nothing. No lights, power, anything. I've checked fuses and power, all good.

Is anybody familiar enough with this model to know if there where any obvious problems or maybe have experianced something similiar? Any feedback would be appreciated...thanks
