Default nice looking stinger board

K-Line K100, K100B Radio Amplifier Kit

i happened on this looking around cbtricks . it looks much more robust than the other stinger boards ive seen and uses a transistor that will do 90 clean watts on 11 meters . i like the external heatsink and it would complement most any cb radio .

has anyone tried one or know anything about its performance ? who makes it or where to get it ? price ?

I would be concerned with the RF radiating off that board into the CB causing foul signal.
I dont think the DC cord on most barefoot CB can handle the extra current.

Dudmuck seems to have his stuff wired tight as far as radio goes.

I'd take his word.

External amps are the ticket when possible.

Most HF rigs have very big heat sinks for the PA's and are shielded, in my experience.

i prefer seperates too . but with the popularity of radios with built in 4 pill amps.....
now , depending on the cost of this thing it could be fun to build it into a lil tool box or something to make it different or look less like an amp . kinda like guys do moding computer cases .
