I recently bought a golden pinto at a yard sale for $1. works great, I would just like some other info on Output watts and manufacture year if anyone knows.
CBTricks doesn't have a thing on it - just a blank page.
Only reference shown is to a SAMS #28
Was this a re-branded radio from Uniden or Cobra?
Or?

had one of these many years ago, sold new early 70s, just your typical inexpensive CB from back in the day. Don't expect it to be a powerhouse, 5 watt input, you should see somewhere from 3-7 watts from it, depending if its been tuned.
I had 2 JC Penny radios. 6247 and a 6241 I think. Sounded top choice on SSB. Nice clean radios. Best filtering too. Wish I hadent gotten rid of it. It used a relay for keying(TX). It would send out an almost ping like sound when you key up on SSB.
Let us know bout this radio, perfomance, etc....
