Seems to be a number of active stations on HF PACKET on 7086.54/7086.57, daily, keyboard to keyboard comms. Siganls and beacons very good.

I'm sure things have change a bit since the last time I was active with HF packet, but 'live' stations are still a rarity. Packet isn't a mode that was designed for 'live' conversations, it's kind of 'clunky' used as such. It does just dandy for passing information if conditions are half way decent though. Which is what it was designed for anyway. That 300 baud just isn't the fastest way of doing anything.
