If you are not a subscriber, I think you get one free download per month, and can view one document per 24 hour period, so don't browse, just sort through to the FT-857 in and try to download the Cat cable schematic.

I have no problems with the cat cable & software I purchased from RT systems
http://www.rtsystemsinc.com/ and the USB-serial converter they sell is very good.
