Default How has participation been in your area?

It seems really low here, at least in NavyMars. I talked to someone in another state and they said the same thing. We have people checking in daily, but it's been difficult to get people to do the other daily jobs that require doing. How has it been for others?

Sparse at best in NJ as well, we had one township OEM drill that was very well done. Live drill with victims, triage, transport etc. but that was the one drill in a year that was practical.

A lot of the leadership is very misguided, unfortunately I don't have the time to put in so I put up and shut up because it is only *my* fault that things don't change.

sparse would seem to be the right word in general since when I have expressed any interest the focus has nt been on how tdo you utilze who is avalble but how do you make people fit in

Ina real emgency I am NOT leaving home although My home stands a pretty good cahnce of being fully operable or just needing to put some stray anttenas since I don't have to use grid power Now

I am not leaving since my dad is in BAD health but I am well postioned according to some and likely I could be aoif assistance while keeping an eye on the homsestead
but no interest in such help

The 'kicker' in this type thingy is that the 'daily', 'routine', 'scut' work type jobs don't really seem like they are doing anything really useful, or 'big', you know? Sort of one of those "Anybody can do that." kind'a things. What people don't stop and think about is that the 'house keeping' chores are what keep the 'big' stuff things capable of being done. The supply clerk will probably never get his name in the paper, but not much happens if he ain't doing his job, sort of, right? Or another, 'tacky' way of putting it, is that it doesn't matter what the secretary has under her shirt that matters, but what she's got between her ears. (There are a few 'butts' in that statement, and all puns are intended! ).
If you can figure a way around that "name in the paper" thingy, patent it!
