are these adjustments for the ar3500 100w rig?

AR3500 tune up

i ask because my rig is doing almost 150w on am and ssb. to me that is way too much, + its soo powerful at voice peaks u can hear ur self in the internal speaker "rf".

Than connect twotone audio generator and adjust ALC for proper reading on the scope.

Absolutely not.
Turning all of the power/mod/carrier pots all of the way open 'balls to the wall' is NOT how I tune my 3500. No way. Not for a nice old radio like that.
