Default CRE 8900 SSB - don't know if anyone had posted this yet

Couple of videos showing up on You Tube of the first models making their way into Europe.

It's a smaller variation of the Alpha 10 Max / CRT type versions although the board looks modified/sized down and the radio is a much smaller in size.

Humm, a radio that will fit in the dash DIN slot, that took long enough to come out with.
I wish they would lose the echo and put a Mic gain in its place.
CW mode included and no RF Rain lol
Not bad, wonder where the price range will fall....
Thanks for the post.

The dream is gone.
but I have become comfortably numb.

hope it doesn't have the low am sensitivity that the superstar 6900 had.

Currently listed in Europe as 289 euros

Will probably be a $225-250 radio here.

It would appear that you can program the Mic gain with the software, also frequency splits, and so on, I am surprised it will not cover 12 meters

On Edit:
You can set the mic gain using the buttons on the face of the radio and the menu, good deal.
