I call B.S on the letters, without any invetstigation they require all that crap do be done, what if it wasn't even the person who got the letter that was the offending station? Pure B.S, did anyone notice how "Detroit" was mis-spelled? I doubt an official government document would have a typo like that, once again, B.S.

nope i never noticed it...i see on there web page,the are popping bootleg brocast station...

Before any letters are sent out they have an agent go to the area and monitor. At that time they will also attempt to contact you and request a station inspection. If you get a letter you can rest assured that they have pinpointed the signal to you. This seems to be the standard procedure I see on all the documents at the FCC web site.

years ago they got my neibor down the street from me,they pulled up,ask for a expection,he let him in....the agaent showed his I.D. and told him to surender his equipment or the fine.So he said to take the equipment.But he was on 27445lsb and running a pdx400 all the time.Thats what they did in 1990s,not sure now.I would of be popped to if i wasnt at work. 73s JW
