Here's a little bigger picture - BC980 Bearcat 980 CB Radio with Upper and Lower Side Band

I think these pictures are their prototype renderings/photoshoped so I wouldn't be surprised if the final version looks a little different.

yikes. that thing scares me. i hate to be negative, but my vote is junk. they're not rebuilding the xl, and i'm SURE they didn't invest R&D to build a $200 cb, so......

Uniden has built some fine units.

rumor has it that the board will be same as a grant? I like the looks of it but must ask where's the clarifier also? How hard will this be to add extras to and will the frequency display show the extras?
