Wow, it took them all of 36 hours this time to ban me. I even got an email from Mr RadioActive himself stating "Sir-
If you'd like to join CBRT, I'll be more then happy to discuss
this with you." I replied with "Out of sheer, morbid curiosity, what would your terms be?". We'll see what happens.

I didn't expect this thread to go this direction, but now I'm curious....

Oh, since I can't get back in (again), could someone please take a peak and let me know if they deleted my post on tha thread (or edited it for almost no content)?

i agree its good to help others switch, i know you like me try to help where you can, theres a world of difference between keeping something simple and just making up your own cb science regardless of anybodys reason for doing it.

Yes, I have been doing that. As I said, I have had dozens of requests to post there. By the way, I wholeheartedly agree with you that differences of opinion "make the world go around". As far as I know I have never been guilty of "spreading false statements", and I would welcome your showing me links to any posts or websites on which you've based that accusation (links from my website to other sites which express opinions, such as the blacklist you hate, don't count). I have, however, absolutely been guilty of strongly expressing opinions against shops that I think, based on my electronics education and experience (as well as nearly 100 years of proven AM radio theory), are doing work that is incorrect from a technical standpoint. If you refer to that kind of expression as slamming, then yes, I'm guilty of "slamming".

Ok, gotta close, I was just made aware of someone selling bootleg copies of my copywrited CB-Computer Interface software on Ebay UK. Gotta go take care of that.

if you post any information in his forum which demonstrates anything of a factual nature you disrupt his opinion-fed sheep and call into question the illusion of "technical competence" that he has created for himself while shrinking the size of the herd and severely impacting his bottom line, he simply can't have any of that. all information with any real technical relevancy and factual bearing including the messengers of the same must be kept away from the herd at all costs.

the hell it doesn't, you disappoint me Dave....

furthermore, there are no opinions expressed in the blacklist. the shops represented are listed there for one reason and one reason only. "all of the shops listed below as a matter of course routinely strip and gut the amc/alc limiting circuits in the radio equipment that they service."
