pill box plans
well booty monster thanks for the link i looked them over and they
are offical, very well put together, and if i was a betting man somebody
from the dave or fatboy camp made thoughs plans, very well made
it has suppression filters, and rf chokes on the hot leads to keep noise
out the alt, the pill boxs because of the copper clad boards you can shoot
volts to the boxs and make them do more watts. i really dont like transistors
boxs in the base but my cb fater pasted on and he gave me a 2 pill crusador
125, made in labenon tn, very well put together 2 pill base, bullet proof also
but the boad needs redoing and because of the craftmenship that was put in
to it i going to use the plans to remake that amp, into a 1 driving 2 2879, with
variable watts control, so it will be a modulator... the pwr supply section is
real nice 45 pound transfer's huge caps, big regulators, but the transistor board is to small and it was mounted on the back of the box, which made it hard to work on., am taking out the pwr section, getting a bigger box, more
better copper clad board, those plans has all the web site one will need to find the parts, which i wouldnt call my self a tech but am a dam good hobbist
with tech like skillz. (disclaimer). so i dont want nobody saying straight razor
is a tech no i have tech like skillz and am dam good, and i know my stuff.. thats why am 10-8 and my stations talks, and my mobile talks.. not braggin
just facts. but anyway thanks booty monster once again.. big ups to you. for those who has skillz those plans are pricesless trust me when i say this.. for the ducks who cant hold a soldring iron dont try it because if u dont understand basic eletronics and how to solder, and tin wires, and the ohms law, and others things i wont mentions pay someone who does have the skillz. last bit of advice once u build it now u gonna tune it thats where the skillz comes into play, u need scopes and meters. to do that..
