On 2 meter/70 centimeter dual band mobile amateur radio antennas that have a coil in the base, do they make any that are SO239 mount? Or are they all NMO mount? I've yet to see an SO239 mount 2 M/70 CM antenna.

Thanks in advance.

I also have the Comet CA-2x4SR antenna with the SO-239 mount and will agree it works quite well. I have had it for over 10 years and it has never failed me yet. I really like the fact it is quite broad banded. It easily works the provincial Emergency Measures Organisation's SAR repeaters with their 143/149 MHz split.

I also have an SBB-5 from Comet.. love it! Great performance, low SWR, strong and solid construction. My favorite thing about the SBB-5 as opposed to many other dual-band mobile antennas is it's subtlety. It's painted flat black from top to bottom, and it's shaped like an oversized (38") old style cellular phone antenna. It's not big and gaudy, but it still performs excellently.

Hey what kind of SO239 mount do you have? I'm looking for a roof mount type.
