75 watts pep SSB radio ..... texas star sweet 16 . about a 10 DB gain .
similar to going from a typical 979 to one with a 2 pill behind it .

Im running a MF 350 here and its a good amp...
Ive had it now about 4 years now I guess...

But its been used mostly on a power supply and used as a driver, does a great job....think one of these would be the best bang for the bucks, just my .02...

i had a 93t kicking into a ts 500 and it was a great combination.the radio was doing around 80 watts.so that would be my pick.like binrat said, the tnt amps are good too.

Who did the radio for you and is it doing an honest 75 watts PEP? My money would be on the TnT 350 or TnT 600.

If you are running 80 watts into a Texas Star 500, how many finals/input resistors/variables have you blown in that amp. The 500s weren't designed for that drive.

Texas star sweet 16 would be perfect behind that radio if it was tuned properly.
