This weekend my wife and I received some new furniture, one of them being a computer armoir. That meant I got to take the old computer desk and do something useful with it.

So I turned it into a home for my radios.

Right now I have a Yaesu FT2800M as my 2 meter radio and a Magnum 257 HP as my 10 meter radio. Powering the Yaesu is an Astron RS12A and the 257 HP is powered by an Astron RS20A.

I added a small fan behind the Yaesu since it gets really warm if I get long winded. I am using a power strip a top the station to power both of the power supplies and the fan.

Future plans include a 70 cm radio (if I can find one that's not ridiculously priced) as well as (maybe) a scanner, perhaps a 220 MHz radio...and I've even toyed with the thought of adding in a CB radio, although I'm not really into 11 m anymore....it would come in handy if someone on 11 m were calling. I'll most likely add an HF radio eventually.

Anyways, here's a few pics for now. Enjoy.

Thanks. I just purchased a 440 MHz radio to add to the station, when I get it I will post some pics. I also need to come up with an antenna for the 440 radio. LOL.
