Default 17 Meter split...

Anyone else notice more ops using split on 17 meters.

I have had three dudes this past week try to run me off. I know darn well I was there before they were.

I guess 20 is to crowded anymore.

when ops try that on me,.............. i tell them they need to LISTEN WHERE they transmit and to stop interfering with my simplex operation.

if they want to listen on MY simplex freq, then I guess they are gonna hear ME

Dunno what antenna you are using on 17m, but mine antenna have 27dB F/B , side is more than that.
You can hear station does not mean he can hear you.
