its an led bar graph power/modulation meter....... the driver IC and circuit for it is behind the keying circuit board kinda hidden from view. It works exactly like a led power meter on a cb. It lights up in increments from left to right as you modulate.
The leds light up with increases/decreases in power or modulation just like on a radio.
The first big red led is just power..... from there on its a power bar graph.
I was thinkin of making a quick video of the led bar graph working before the amp is gone..

Hey Switch...... its been awhile. Things are OK for me. Been working on quite a few bigger jobs at work and just havent had the time for cb or surfin the forums. I did read a couple of your posts on another forum... I was going to pm you and say hello.
Hope things are going cool for you as well.... By the way... did you even get the covers off that Palomar to check out what class it is?

no never did Bush , IM totally looking to down grade in the power department here very soon. Cobra XL 450 (4 x 454s) just to much pull on my engine anymore , not so much that ,other then losing half my gas miledge. Seems like DX is picking up and IM just going to go SSB and get something half the size or less.

My gas miledge just means more to me about now. IM sure you can understand. IM just looking for a small AB-1 , 100 watts would be great. Thanks for the reply.
