Good find Booty. Now there is a man who is not afraid to experiment with antennas.

I figure you and/or HomerBB will be building one within the week.

I am going to share your find with the boys on the other side of the pond.

im just a CB'er so i don't need the bandwidth . it seems to basically be like a 10k (or any other external coil antenna) but coil is slightly off-set from center and detachable . change coils to change the center frequency of use . i wouldn't drive with it . but it might make a good antenna for sitting on a hill or mountain top in a mobile or a base .

That is why I shared it with the fellows on the other side of the pond. They take their DX'ing seriously and have some really cool looking set-ups for hilltop Dx'ing.

Instead of building a screwdriver antenna, he made the loading coils interchangeable.
Neat work - tho . . .

If you think the fellows across the pond are not serious when it comes to DX, just watch this.
