| I have a Mura PRX-300 desk mic that I want to wire to a Galaxy DX-2547. It has a 4 pin plug with an unknown wiring configuration. The 5 core coiled lead appears original, and I want to identify the functions of the cores, ie TX, RX, Audio, Shield. The cores and existing connections are: braid (pin 1) yellow & green (pin 2) blue (pin 3) red (pin 4) I have looked in the usual places on the net without success, any help will be welcomed. Thank you. 43 Echo 695

| The audio wire on 99% of mics is the one that the braid is wrapped around. So now you know which is shield and which is audio. To determine the rx and tx wires you can follow these procedures: MIKE WIRING GUIDE |

| Thanks WR0220, Haven't got around to wiring the mic yet, but the link should be all I need, thanks. Am thinking of buying one or two of the CBC publications.
