Default video review of sparkys external talkback controll

in a nutshell...its cheap , simple and does what its supposed to do .

could definately be a nice lil thing to have with your test equipment as well as its intended purpose of ading talkback to radios .

$7.00 + shipping for talkback that is good for what exactly?

Talkback is highly over rated as far as I'm concerned and that thing looks so poorly built I'd be shocked if it lasted very long.

I just watched it again!

Where do I get me some of those pitometers?

LOL!

IM not sure how talkback is over rated though ? it is what it is. It serves it's purpose for those that use it.If folks that use it have problems ? it's one of two things , to much resistance added (or not enough) or to much audio.

Talkback can be a learning experiance as well as good feature for some. Weather one uses echo or even noise toys for that matter. For many years I never used it , you could basically say I didn't like it. But after echo boards and noise toys used for AM, talkback became a main stay with most of my radios.

It allows me to set my audio / echo right where it needs to be for excellent audio presentation. It also lets me know if IM over modulated or under. Talkback has become a main stay for my AM operations over the years. Even if I didn't use echo , it still helps me keep my audio set where I want it to be.

Talkback only needs to work for given users. if one has feedback problems concerning talkback ? I'd have to say your not doing something right or something was done wrong in the first place. It could be a number of things , microphone used , grounding issues , the way the radio has been tuned ,or resistance added, ect. ect. .

it's not so much that guys like to hear themselves talk (or is it ?) talkback surely serves it's purpose.
