Default Testing New Tweety Birds

Alright, have all the parts and building 1st one today. Will need to test. Was going to put one in my Synchron desk mic which is the Turner duplicate mics...put can't seem to get the thing apart. Has 4 screws on bottom. Also removing the nut holding the volume control to the base, but after all this the bottom is still being held to the base rather securely by something else that I can't see. No more screws on anything obvious.Did a little prying around the edges...can't figure that out.

So still would like to test the tweety. I can supply 9 volts to it. If I connect the output to am 8 ohm speaker...will the circuit produce enough signal to be heard over the speaker at all? Or is it such a small signal that it must be fed into a radios audio circuit to get amplified?

Thanks for any help!!

Again, if successful, I will be offering them here to anyone who wants them.

TNX WW
