Thank you Sir. I have the operating manual. But I want to know If it will detect and display digital I know it will analog. Lets say police talking on digital will it lock on and show the freq.?

If your encountering a spread spectrum signal, it'll likely show average signal frequency. There may be different digital protocols that will affect accuracy.
