As a member of a local club considering joining the pilot program yaesu has for the DR-1 repeater, I am very interested in any info I can get on the FT-1D.
I'm looking to sell a TH-D72A with drop in charger, original box and all materials it came with. Radio is less than 1 year old and barely used. Asking $400.

I'd ask the other guys involved with the commercial licence what they are using. The Moto CM200 has TX/RX in the freqs you listed. You would need to have a Moto dealer program the channels used in the commercial license.
the Yaesu uses a different modulation from D-star and is not compatible.

I also agree that most of your use will be on the 2m and 440 bands. I've had my VX7R for 5 years now and not once have I used the 6m feature on it. If it did SSB that would be a different story, but these HTs are FM only.
