Has anyone identified a source for more of these connectors and / or the crimp-on terminals you would use to add a speaker or keyer wire to the connector? I don't want to add External speaker and PA jacks.

TETRA stumbled upon a thread where a guy had to solder a ground strap to FT104 and screw it to the heat sink to eliminate a bad RF feedback problem and it totally solved my problem too. Just investigating the coil tampering now with a new freq counter and then I'll be happy. :biggrin:

Well, more examination showede that someone has tweaked L315 and L318 but not the others that should follow. That might explain alot. My O-scope is only a 30Mhz model so I'm gonna have to decide whether to Have rogerbird do it, or buy a better scope.. Hmm

Combed through there, nothing exclusive to the president lincoln though unfortunately Like the HR2510's the earlier lincoln had a 477 0r 497 final which I believe were set at 50ma like rogerbirds page states, but I believe it's different with the totally different newer MRF455 found in the...

I've got the version that came stock with the MRF455 and I'm looking for the correct specs. The patient has 65mA between TP4 and TP3, and 110mA between TP4 and TP2.

It's not a squeal really, it's some sort of added oscillation, it'll do it without even having a mike attached. Goes away at higher frequencies. Sounds alot like an alignment issue actually. Rogerbird is helping me out :)
