    Rohn tilt base bolt pattern

Rohn tilt plates are not constructed all that strong. They actually recommend raising the tower WITHOUT the antenna being mounted on it when using there hinge plates. What good is that? 4 years ago i purchsed one of Rohns plates. But, was afraid to use it after seeing how it was...

    Beam Ant.

In my local area here all cb beam owners have them mounted Verticle. Except 1 guy who has a PDL-2. Jo-Gunn 5 conventional, Jo-Gunn 4 Conventional. We are all about 3 miles apart. I out-talk them all in DX with my I-10K almost everytime. The guy with the PDL-2 runs his on the verticle side...

    BEAM ANT. UPDATE

The shooting Star is similar to the Old Moonraker 4 beam. Had a Shooting Star before, they work good. Yes, you can tune them on the ground. Get bottom verticle elements as high as you can off ground and away from objects. You might want to leave some of the bottom verticle elements off, then...

    Beam Ant.

Look for a used PDL-2 beam on auction sites. Much better construction than the S.E. beam. Jo-Gunn makes a 2 element. But, there beams are expensive. Better off going with MasterChief advice.

Comparing my Starduster to my I-10K

Hi Marconi, Were they tested in 2 different locations or the exact same location for both antennas??? Never mind...LOL... I checked out your pics. COOL! I have to run one antenna here, then mount the other antenna in the exact same location as only a few feet here throws off the testing due...
