what will work as an HDTV antenna to RX the FREE "Over The Air" broadcasts???
can i build my own antenna???? if so,is a yagi type possible????

i never knew the "split" channels as they sometimes refered ....were used for RC devices......the first time i've ever heard or read that...i always here funny buzzing or tones on those freqs....
trust me,there are tons of people looking for certain cb equip and reputable cb techs all the time....90% have never picked up a book and tryed to understand anything about radio commmunication/rf theory/antenna theory,thats how it is....so i'm positive there are a ton of questions that go...
interesting....if i tryed to explain these issues to the local shops, i'd probably get..."does it recieve....well its fine then" or the "do you own this shop" treatment and type of answer....or they would pull the car salesman bit and try and sell me another worthless radio.....

you must not be reading my post...i said AVG cb and/or 11m radios.....
i have expeirenced different levels of interference with all different radio's i have in-line with the antenna....as you stated earlier it is due to RX selectivity i'm assuming....

i never said it was totally unavoidable....but with the majority of todays so called techs,export cb's with horrible RX,and unwilling to learn operators....it might as well be unavoidable...

good stuff.....i/or anyone for that matter that has owned or could hook up many different 11m radios would know or should be able to tell the difference......mostly all will show significant or slight variation is s-unit readings when recieving the same tramsit signal thru the same antenna...

if it is a yagi,it is a yagi,EX: 4 ele yagi vs 4 ele yagi....there is probably not going to be hardly any difference if the ele spacing is...

yes,this is the "saturn turbo"...it does about 130w 150w on a de-2000 meter....which is fine for me....it gets good reports am/ssb on the air...
the "key board circuit" is very interesting to me since i own a sb-220....it is hard to find any 11m amp...
was wondering if the either the REC(recorder) or freq counter jacks on the back of the radio can be used to key an amplifier(sb-220)???
also...what is the normal output for this radio???
