    Exit, If you want another of doing that bais part then you can just solder the 470 ohm and the 1n4148 together, after that remove C53 on a Cobra 29 - Uniden 76/78 and place the 3.3k there instead of soldering all three together....     I use the Skythumper Vortex board also in a Cobra 29 or 25 that is not a NW and I use the TRB1-X2 in Cobra 29/25's that have the NW dimmer in the way.... I like both but I still lean towards the RF TRB1-X2.... I use either one of these at any given time and they are both good but for a radio...

    Uniden 69xl mosfet mod?

    The driver doesn't normally get swapped only the final.... You will have to add and remove some caps to bring the deadkey up and get the power where you want it.... PM ME and I can give you some ideas where to start....

    Weather Band Removal

    Anyone ever remove one of these in order to install an echo board??? Any problems with things not working right?? Seems pretty straight forward from looking at the diagrams and appears to not affect the operation.... I could be wrong... Any ideas??
