which final is good to use and is better? 1969 is cheaper than 2312. wanted to replace finals in dx88 which uses the 2312. finals are 2078 now.

yes! this is an old 2970 and it's just a parts radio now. Amp still works and i wanta use the amp. I just wanted to know how it could be done.

radio was recently fixed. stopped transmitting. now i only get 3w dk, 8 w pep on low and 4w dk, 8w pep on hi power. SSB swings to about 10w pep. found out TR43, TR44, TR56 are all 2sc2166. Would that be causing the low power? I think the original is that TR43 & TR56 was suppose to be 2SC2312...

Under normal use, audio from speaker cuts out at time. Talk back, receive and tx. No sound at all until you restart the radio or when it cools down. Sometimes that doesn't happen for a week or so. HELP!! :headbang
