    What does an MRI cost?

Sent a client to clinic for MRI of back. He had no insurance. Cost was $2000 but on contingency. That means they only get paid if and when case is won. They got paid, but you know they is a lot of fluff in that price. You can get the same MRI in Japan for $500 without insurance.

    Galaxy DX99V2 VS Stryker 955HP

The 5054 was developed by Ranger at my request. In talking with a Kenwood dealer back in 1999, he indicated that if Ranger could make a single band 6 meter radio for use by new licensees at price X, then he believed about 150 units could be sold per month. In order to get that price point...

    Radios are all the same?

They are working on getting the Vietnam line running smoothly and to capacity. Then I expect they will bring out the new model which has been in the works for a couple years.

    Radios are all the same?

I would recommend the Malaysia factory. That's where most product is made and where the action is. In a couple years, it will be Vietnam. If you are going to be in Malaysia anyway, let me see what I can do.

    Radios are all the same?

I have been to every Ranger factory. The employees are paid great wages relative to that countries average pay. The line moves relatively slowly in my opinion. The employees are not working in a sweat shop, nor are they paid slave wages.

A board is a board right?

The design of a radio board is part science, part art. You can't just use a computer program to lay out the board and get a good result. You need years of experience to design a good product. Back in 1997, one of the VP for Cobra told the FCC there were only 2 companies that can build a good...

    Federal Dietary Guidelines

Not really, unless you have to have sugar in every sauce or rub. Almost all meats and spices are okay. See this link. http://www.lowglycemicload.com/glycemic_table.html

    Federal Dietary Guidelines

Just Google low glycemic diet. If you stick to it, you will lose a ton of weight, your blood pressure will drop, your cholesterol will drop, your blood sugar will fall within normal limits and stay there. Worked for me. That a a 20 minute walk with the dog every day is all it took.

Who's bright idea was it to bring EBOLA into the US?

The problem is that those providing advice to the "Czar" are all political appointees. The head of the CDC was appointed by POTUS and can be fired by him without cause. So any advice from the head of the CDC has to be looked at with suspicion. Ideally, the head of the CDC would not be a...

Who's bright idea was it to bring EBOLA into the US?

Well, with that I agree. It can't be kept out 100 percent. Just no reason to make it easier to get in. IMHO we really need to contain it to Africa as much as possible, and also assist them as much as possible to end the infection there. The ebola virus, for a number of reasons, mutates...

Who's bright idea was it to bring EBOLA into the US?

So its better to let them into the country to infect even more people? The US won't issue people an immigration VISA unless they have been vaccinated for about 20 different diseases. But they will issue a tourist VISA to anyone without requiring proof of any vaccinations or that they are free...

Who's bright idea was it to bring EBOLA into the US?

If their passport is checked at entry, it will show a VISA stamp for the African countries (assuming they don't have a passport from one of those countries). Doesn't matter which country they transit through. We could keep them out if we want.

Who's bright idea was it to bring EBOLA into the US?

The virus has mutated at least 50 times since the first infection. Given its nature, we should expect a mutation at least every month. The virus has few genes comparatively speaking, so we should expect it won't be long before it mutates into something worse than it is. As far as "weaponized"...
