200w from a ts430, i think you need a new wattmeter,
they will do about 160w if somebody has been in with a golden screwdriver but thats not doing the radio any good at all, 100-120w is more than enough for the components in the bandpass filters and pa board,
stock they do 90w fm and thats hard on them too if your long winded,

if it was mine i would set it back to factory power settings and use an amplifier if 100-120w max aint giving you wood.

radio is second hand i got it this way. i got it fixed.
was a bad power cord. now im lineing it up. and seting it for 100
i need no more than 100 watts. am ssb what ever.
see if im alowed to run 200. then i run 100-150 only just to make sure
my rig is wright.even on cb no power talkd ever were on the right day.
so the wait is worth it. lots of fun for me to make a long distance contac.with lit or no power.
