Default cold solder joint

I believe I have a cold solder joint on my cobra 25.
The squelch seems to cut out after awhile.
When I push on the board it comes back up.
I know they are hard to find but any ideas what to look for.
Thanks

GOD BLESS

WOOF!
I would iuse a 35 watt soldering iron and carefully touch all of the solder joints on that part of the board you described. If you don't want to do it - take it to a tech and have him do it. It may be a poor solder joint or a poor chassis ground - the tech will isolate it and find out. They shouldn't take longer than an hour and charge you about ~$30...

open the radio up, non-speaker side and use a non-metallic probing device (toothbrush handle) and lightly tap around the board until you find an area the causes the symptoms to occur and you can usually see with a magnifier where the problem is then re-tin the points in that general area.

Tightening the board to chassis screws has cured many a radio woe.

Also look for a broken connection where a component lead goes thru the board.
