ANETNNA TUNER FOR YAESU FT-840

    The orginal antenna tuner for the yaesy ft-840 was the fc 10
    I am wondering if the YAESU FC-20 HF/50 MHz AUTOMATIC ANTENNA TUNER
    will work any one done this ???? Thanks for L@@king.........:rolleyes:

    I just looked at the tuner, but I can't tell if the transceiver interface will work with the older rig. Other than that, the specs indicate that this tuner will only handle a 3:1 SWR. I think I would look for a better external tuner, possibly from LDG.

    I would look at the LDG tuner,has alot better tuning range than the Yeasu tuner will have ,and you will be able to put the LDG tuner behind any hf/50mhz radio

    I have been looking at the LDG auto tuners for a while ....When I do buy a tuner the AT 200 Pro 2 has my attention...I see now they have a 600 watt tuner... even more to look at (y)
