nice to hear my crapola audio on your live feed from thursday, 12:13pm(which was my time)......does help to know WHAT the problem is, just don't know WHY. when the radio clicks 28.0000 the audio is PERFECT. every time. gotta play with it to make it good on 27mhz. can't figure it out. such is life with a 27 year old radio. just to know i got to you on 20 watts mobile, peaking S7 was good.
do say i have a new appreciation for you guys out west talking to europe.....with their WEAK signals to you! here, on the atlantic ocean, S9+20 from europe & sometimes they can't get over their own noise! it's even worse during springtime e skip season. but then again, my 10m base contacts to the western pacific dxpedition stations were also mostly less then S5.
