Looking to build a 11meter 10meter fractal antenna, can soneone point me in the right direction?
It's been a long time since I've heard anyone mention a fractal antenna! I thought that nonsense was dead. Good luck with it!
If you can go back several years through the "rec.radio.amateur.antenna" use group, you should find more than you'd ever want to know about fractal antenna theory, but very little on making one that works. There's a very good reason for that, I think you'll understand much better after reading the whole mess. I wouldn't touch that one with ~your~ ten foot pole...
These guys might help.
Show one example of a -working- fractal antenna at HF.
Don't need too.
No, you certainly don't need to. That's a good thing too, since no one can.
Can't I get one of those to stick to my car's window?
Sure! Just be sure not to transmit till -after- you lick it to stick it on the window...
Geez, did I create a mess or what!?
I know they use these in bluetooth devices and cell phones but I was just curious about one for 10 and 11 meters...
Oh and mack.... The link you provided is dead, or is that just a pun?
That link will work if you delete one of the "http://"s, there's one too many.
I think if they made one, it'll melt or burnup as soon as you key up your 4 watt swinging 12 watt radio. Imagine the SWR on that puppy.
You can email this guy and ask. firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sorry about that but it did work when I placed it there, someone has been tampering with my account and I can't put it past him diddling with that.
