Anyone else own this radio? if you are considering buying one buy it great radio.
    Pros-
Good power very solid 150 watts untouched.
good audio, ive gotten great reports in DX and with the locals. using a rk56
THE STARLIGHT faceplate is absolutely the coolest feature ive ever seen on a radio i never had a nightwatch cobra but it really makes it easy at night when driving if you have to make any adjustments or when your at a spot operating at night makes it great.
Cons- SSB this thing hates the cold and takes a while to warm up but after its done warming up it pretty much stays on frequency.
otherwise i cant say anything else bad about this radio.
hope this helps anyone whos considering one to buy one.

Mine works great! Been using it lately. 10 to 30 watts dk 180 watts pep AM. 100 watts SSB. Does take afew mins to warm up but then its stable. They do need a fan if long winded. I use mine one the base I even get great reports on SSB. Ive heard it on some gates and it sounds great. But GLR is like mikey. He hates everything lol.

    Problems:

    1. $400+ purchase price.

    2. Echo on a radio advertised mostly for supertrucker SSB use. To make it even better there are no external echo controls other than on/off.

    3. RF gain control?

    4. Starlight faceplate, pretty but horribly expensive to repair and not that reliable.

    5. Hot. Just runs hot.

    6. GNF. uh huh.

Buy a real radio and a real amp.

I have been hearing more and more drivers saying just that. The trucking companies won't allow ANY added on amplifiers. So, if that's the position you are in, a high powered rig is the only way.

Even though Galaxy's are not my fav's, I still like the 93T, but never can find one for sale.

I've got a 93t I'll sell ya...It was one of the first ones shipped to the U.S...I had to wait about a month for the thing to get unloaded off the Boat once it got here because of some Dock Workers Strike that was going on at the time...

It works...A little ruff looking and the red color on the meter has faded out from the Sunlight hitting it...It could also use a good P&T.

If you replaced the meter, and took the covers off and repainted them, it would look bran new...

AS IS. $150 to your door...wont be DOA.

As for the 95T...If it were me...I would just spend the extra and get the 98HP...or...if your not that into SSB, I just bought a Cobra 29 from R&R Communications with the Competition Mods done, which included a variable DK, receive boost, and what they call a 12w DK Mod, and couldn't be happier!

Mods cost as much as the radio did, but still less than what a Galaxy 95T or 98 cost...

HOA says you can't have a CB Radio? Or a Export Radio?

There's no way I could live where these HOA people dictate what you can or can't do...May as well be living in a Communist Neighborhood...same thing...

I would assume HOA rules are no antennas which a healthy dose of k.m.a. has been known to overcome.

I wanted a 95T because I didnt want to run an amp and more wires to the battery. also didnt have a place to mount the amp. so the 95T was perfect for me. I have a car so I dont have alot of room to mount the CB itself so there was no way an amp was going to work. mounted the radio under the passenger side dash and ran the wires to the battery.

Another reason I got 2 of the 95Ts was because I got the first one for $275 and the second one for $225. It was to good to pass up. Both worked great.
I couldnt be happier. its nice to compare both radios. one with a mod and one without to see what I like. If i find another one for a good price Id get it. I was thinking bout a 98vhp but i think that might be too big for my alternator and ive heard a few people that had them say theyve had issues with them.
