Got hopefully the 1st of many CA3045 Tweety Bird modules built. The circuit provided did not include the "fires on keydown" feature. Anyone know what to add to do this?
Many thanks

just add a cap to that button to hold the charge while resting and it should fire on keyup.Hi Funky, No that's not it. An extra switch is not needed in order to fire-on-keyup. You'd have to push the dang button while keying up every time.
They're not terrifically easy to put together Funky my man. Takes about 2 hours plus acquiring the parts from various sources. I plan on putting them on ebay as Buy It Now for $60 and they will sell. I have sold the parts-only by themselves and been paid $50-60. All I can do is $50 shipped. Will be ready to use/install, tested and working.

man i miss my birdie guy .i could buy those wholesale for 10 bucks .he would sell them on ebay for 15.00.those days are gone now .he doesnt return my emails.
on all mine all it is is a cap across the button to hold the charge while resting.increase capacitence and you get a longer whistle when you key.
thats how mine work.
Change the value of the cap to make the squirt longer or shorter.
Glad you got it to working. Waiting on the royalty checks to start rolling in. LOL
