I have never owned a Elecraft HF rig but have had some of the transverter's they offer in kit form that were fun to assemble and operate. My question is about interfacing a transverter with the KX3. Is any special ports ex. ALC, key, etc included on the KX3? It would be nice to use this to drive the DEMI units or the like for VHF rover operating. Any thoughts or comments on this would be appreciated. Mike KC2PLJ

The KX3's ACC2 port can be used to interface with transverters. Check out page 5 of the KX3 manual: http://www.elecraft.com/manual/KX3 Owner's man Rev A1sm.pdf
