MOTOROLA BASE 555 CHANNEL MOD/CLARIFER UNLOCK

Hi Retro here again and in search of both a channel mod for uppers above 40 on this model base station if ANYBODY knows how or can point me to a confirmed mod for that please ?

Also clarifier unlock for this radio please ?

One final note : I'd like to have the service manual to this vintage radio please so any help would be much appriciated !!!!!!!!!!!!

The Motorola CM550/555 uses the TC9105P pll chip, which can be modded for uppers. See the link from Sonoma above. (Secret CB Vol. 12, page 7.)

FYI, the last two Sam's manuals in the cb radio series (#s 292 & 293) weren't called CB Photofacts, but rather were called Sam's CB Radio Service Data. Instead of the familiar Sam's schematics and photos, they were simply copies of the factory service manuals.
