A while back I acquired one of the few SuperAntennas 12 volt rotators for use with their YP-2 6-20 meter portable yagi. This particular rotator is one of only a few prototypes in existence. Overall, the unit does work very well! The LED's that indicate the yagi direction don't quite work correctly, but that can be fixed by changing the pot that controls is. Apparently the parts supplier had shipped an audio taper pot instead of a linear one and the problem wasn't detected until the prototypes were built...no big deal.

Enjoy the video!

Although I like the antenna and rotator, I will probably end up selling them both as I just am not able to use them as often as I would like.

Man, that Yagi has some serious sag!

BTW-does that rotor allow for full +360 degree spin w/o stopping at some point?

If that rotator is supporting the antennas entire weight; then an alignment bearing would help. I know that this setup is supposed to be portable; but you still want it to last awhile - right?

SELL IT? Baaad MARS operator . . .
