RFX-150; anyone seen this before?

Was looking on Bells CB Radio site and I just noticed this for the first time. Never heard of it nor did I hear any talk of it at all.

Looks like this:

Big unit! $100 for ~150 watts. Fan kit sold separately.

Anyone know anything about this yet?

Ill bet its a class C s**tbox that will sound awful on SSB...............

The RFX150 uses a matched pair of ERF7530 high power MOSFET RF
transistors running Class AB.
 
Why not just get an external amp and forget about this thing????

It is an option to replace the amp section for example: my mk1 2950 blew the 2312's. instead of replacing the 2312's I decided to install a rfx-75 and I run it at 40w so I can drive a dx-500 to full output. The radio runs cooler with this setup. I can see the rfx-150 as being a great companion to drive a 8pill
