I was given this CB radio and I notices some rattling on the inside so I opened up the covers and found the crystals out of there sockets. Does anyone have a sams on this radio that can tell me what crystal goes in what socket? Thanks

Here's what I have. The service manual doesn't explicitly show where each crystal is located. But it does have a component-layout picture showing the trimmer capacitor "CV" number for each crystal socket.

Oddly enough, the service manual doesn't have a schematic.

But the owner's manual does. You'll need to see which crystal frequency goes with which trimmer cap and get them located that way.

A bit roundabout, but the info is there, anyway.

Odd, I thought I uploaded two pdf files to the last post.

    Don't see them here.

Maybe I just didn't give it long enough for a 8MB and a 16MB file.

    Again......

    This time?

    (edit) Apparently not.

Don't know what I failed to do right, but this just isn't working.
