Tools to do the job.

1: 30 watt soldering iron
2: HD lineman pliers
3: Makita 18V with various small driver bits for tuning.
4: 4-6" of small gauge wire.
5: 2.5 lb dead blow hammer...just to use on stubborn radios.
Don't you mean a 300 watt solder gun? These heat up faster and get the job done quicker for the impatient people.

The good solder guns have a LED light which is handy to see better in those tight places on these newer and smaller SMT boards!
