Default clean rf

has anyone here bought the splatter combo from these guys; cleanrf.com ?

they are break out boxes for your scope. one between radio and amp....and the other between amp and ant.

the manual makes it all seem so simple to me....dunno though....

one is x the other is y on scope................looks great and i AM READY to buy. It seems to do more than the wave node system.... it is much more than just a watt meter. I think I would use my scope much more.

I am building power supplies and small amps ......having the right tools is everything to me.
If there is something better out there let me know please.

thanks again ....especially bob 85 for helping me get my first amp going.

Haven't tried one myself, but watching the demonstration video convinces me that its useful too see your amplifier gain in real-time, making it easy to see gain compression.

Seems there are three versions of the sampler, 200watt, 2kw and 5kw.
I'm sure there is a limit to the dynamic range of these units, meaning the 200watt unit will probably have distorted output with a signal power much over 200 watts, and visa versa.

The tried and true way to measure linear amplifier (third order) distortion is with a two tone signal, and a sample of RF output fed into a spectrum analyzer. Yet such equipment is not in the price range of the radio hobbyist.
