Default ASTATIC PDC 2


looking for how to use it, the instructions with it suck, i dont know what the little antenna on it is for, or which scales to look at, each screen has 3 scales to look at, i hooked it up and it says my watts drop off when i talk, does that make sense, any help wouyld be appreciated

The little antenna is for the field strength portion of the meter, the scale on the left is the power reading meter depending on which setting you have it on which is either 0-10 watt scale and the other setting is 0-100 watt scale so if you're checking a normal cb radio you set it to forward 10 watt scale and you can read your swr (standing wave ratio) on the meter to the right.

If it's your power reading is going backwards you may have it set to reflected wattage function which indicates power radiated back into the radio which is never good.

ive tried 2 other radios on it 1 other coax, 3 other antenas, the rsults are the same, should i stay keyed up when switching fromfwd to ref thanks
